Winner Announcement for Sabka Vikas MahaQuiz – PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana Edition (14th April – 19th April)
The Government of India has launched various flagship schemes for the benefit of the citizens. As an outreach effort to enhance awareness regarding these schemes, the citizens engagement platform of the Government- MyGov, has launched the Sabka Vikas MahaQuiz in 12 languages. Under this MahaQuiz series PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana Quiz was launched on 14th April, 2022 as the 1st quiz . The PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution intends to reduce the challenges encountered by the poor as a result of disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The immediate goal was to ensure that no poor or vulnerable person or household went hungry. Under the scheme, all National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries are entitled to 5 kgs of free food grain every month. This is over and above the highly subsidized food grains available to NFSA beneficiaries.
