Congratulations, MyGov Sabka Vikas MahaQuiz Participants!
India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has effected a paradigm shift towards a people centric governance in the past 8 years. Since 2014, The Hon’ble Prime Minister has made numerous structural transformations, which cover every sector of our society and economy and is committed to the ideals of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas” to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
As India celebrates 75 years of its Independence, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, MyGov launched “8 Years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan” as the third quiz in the Sabka Vikas Mahaquiz Series which is part of an outreach effort to build awareness in citizens.
The said Quiz was launched from 30th May, 2022 till 30th June, 2022 in 12 Indian languages to reach every citizen (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi & English).
In the last eight years, there has been an exponential leap in ensuring last-mile delivery to the poorest sections of society. Whether it be in the unprecedented number of houses built under PM Awas Yojana, water connections given under Jal Jeevan Mission or provided free gas connections under Ujjwala scheme, there has been a perceptible improvement in the livelihoods of the poor, ensuring 100% delivery of each scheme to the beneficiaries.
The quiz witnessed great enthusiasm and broad-based participation from citizens across the country. With a total of 5,38,541 contestants, the quiz received highest participation from Maharashtra followed by Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Maximum participation was received from age group 18-24.
A maximum of 1,000 participants with the highest scores were to be selected.
