Winner Announcement for the #SmileForShoonya – A Selfie Competition for Shoonya – Zero Pollution Mobility Campaign, August 2023
On 19th July 2023, Shoonya – Zero Pollution Mobility campaign, in collaboration with NITI Aayog and MyGov, launched the #SmileForShoonya Challenge, a selfie competition that reflects zero pollution mobility. The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign aims to improve air quality in India by promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs) for urban deliveries and ride-hailing. The #SmileForShoonya challenge invited participants to capture selfies that reflect the essence of sustainable transportation, electric vehicles, and their associated benefits.
The competition received an overwhelming response from citizens nationwide, receiving 198 entries. The entries were judged by a committee of experts based on creativity, originality, technical excellence, artistic merit, visual impact, and integration of Shoonya’s elements.
A total of three winners with the highest scores were selected. The first, second, and third-place winners will receive a cash prize of INR 5,000, INR 3,000, and INR 2,000, respectively. The top 10 entries will receive a certificate of participation.
