Winner Announcement for Viksit Bharat @2047 and the Role of Panchayati Raj Institutions Quiz
As part of the Independence Day Celebrations (IDC) 2026, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, has successfully conducted the online quiz titled “Viksit Bharat @2047 and the Role of Panchayati Raj” on the MyGov platform from 22 July to 27 July 2026.
The quiz was designed to enhance public awareness about the pivotal role of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in strengthening grassroots democracy and contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It encouraged citizens to learn more about India’s democratic decentralisation framework and the transformative initiatives being implemented at the grassroots level.
The response to the quiz was overwhelming, with 7,240 citizens from across the country participating enthusiastically. The remarkable participation reflects the growing interest of citizens in understanding the role of Panchayati Raj Institutions in nation-building and inclusive development of the country.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, the top 30 winners will receive e-invitation cards from the Ministry of Defence at their registered email addresses to attend the Independence Day Ceremony 2026 at the Red Fort, New Delhi.
Participants are advised that expenses related to travel, boarding, lodging, and meals for attending the ceremony will be borne by the winners and their companions. However, travel by Delhi Metro to and from the Red Fort venue will be provided free of charge upon presentation of the e-invitation. Please note that children below five years of age will not be permitted to attend the ceremony.
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj and MyGov extend their heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and express sincere appreciation to every participant for making the quiz a resounding success. The enthusiastic response reaffirms the spirit of citizen participation in India’s democratic journey.
