Winner announcement of My Life My Yoga-2020
The Ministry of Ayush hosted a video blogging contest titled “My Life My Yoga” (also called “Jeevan Yoga”) on MyGov during International Day of Yoga 2020. The contest aims at the transformative impact that Yoga has on the lives of individuals and intends to raise awareness about yoga among people worldwide. Hence, the contest is open to submit their entries via various Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The contest gathered huge participation at both domestic as well as global level. The contest is a joint effort by the Ministry of Ayush and ICCR.
The contest was held in 6 categories – Yoga Professionals, Adult (above 18 years) and Youth (under 18) with male and female contestants considered separately. The contest was live on MyGov from 31st May 2020 to 21st June 2020.
The contest has received an overwhelming response from India & abroad. The winners were selected by a two-level evaluation wherein a screening committee filtered the entries and a jury selected the winner from different categories of the contest. The Jury decided that there would be 2 winners in the 2nd position of the youth female category (global).
