Winner Announcement of the Bharat Ki Jal Dharohar Quiz
As Rivers are the lifeline of India, if we look at our demographic map we have quite a good network of river system. Some relatively larger rivers and their subordinates do wonders for India. Being an agriculture dependent nation, rivers play a very important part in irrigation as well as flow of river makes the land fertile. Rivers are one of the largest sources of electricity for nation, via hydropower projects. Rivers are regarded as holy and they have some emotional and spiritual connect with people. In view of the importance of the rivers of India, Ministry of Jal Shakti had organised “Bharat Ki Jal Dharohar Quiz” from 25th Dec 2021-25th January, 2022. All selected applicants will be awarded with a digital certificate from MyGov and five winners are proposed to be awarded with Rs 10,000/- each. They will be selected on the basis of finishing the quiz in shortest time with all correct answers.
The quiz received a good response, with 38,672 citizens participating across the country. Total 895 participants scored full 10 marks in the quiz.
The highest number of participation was received from Uttar Pradesh (5661), Delhi (4103) and Gujarat (3012). The highest participation has been received from below 18 Age group i.e. 15976, which indicates that most youngsters have participated in the quiz.
