Winner Announcement of the Logo Design Competition for Cultural Mapping of India
The MyGov platform is a collaborative forum where citizens can “Be an active partner in nation-building; and Participate in Groups, Tasks, Discussions, Polls, Blogs and Talks.” The National Mission on Cultural Mapping (NMCM) initiated a Logo design competition from July 25, 2018 to August 25, 2018 on this vibrant platform to engage a wider audience in designing a meaningful logo for Cultural Mapping of India project. The contest recorded considerable participation with nearly 311 submissions, of varying levels of creativity & innovation. We thank the participants for their creative submissions that lead us to hope for positive interest in our challenging nationwide efforts.
While 300+ participants displayed their overwhelming interest, enthusiasm and keenness in participating in the above contest, it was the difficult task of our committee of judges to decide upon the award-winner. Due to the high quality standards required for selecting a logo for NMCM, post evaluation of all the individual entries by a committee appointed for the purpose, it has been decided that a single entry is to be finally adapted as the official logo.

Due to the high quality standards required for selecting a logo for NMCM, post evaluation of all the individual entries by a committee appointed for the purpose, it has been decided that not to proceed further with any of the entries as were received against the logo taglines of “Hamari Sanskriti Hamari Pehchan” and “Cultural Mapping of India” contests through the MyGov.in portal.
We would once again like to thank all the participants for their valuable contributions in this regard.
