Winners Announcement for Know Your GI Tags – From Manipur to the World
India’s rich cultural heritage is reflected in its diverse traditional products, crafts, agricultural produce and artistic expressions. Geographical Indication (GI) Tags play an important role in recognising and protecting these unique products and the communities associated with them.
To encourage citizens to learn more about India’s GI-tagged products, MyGov hosted the “Know Your GI Tags – From Manipur To The World” Quiz, inviting participants to test and expand their knowledge of the rich GI heritage of Manipur and its significance.
The quiz received an overwhelming response, with 19,283 citizens participating and demonstrating their enthusiasm for learning about India’s distinctive cultural and traditional heritage.
After completion winner-selection process, 10 winners have been selected for the quiz.
