Winner Announcement for VEERGATHA 2.0
Veergatha 1.0 was received very enthusiastically pan India. Inspired by its success, MOE in coordination with MOD is implementing VeerGatha 2.0 from 1st Sep 2022 to 30th Nov 2022 under the aegis of Gallantry Awards Portal of India. In order to popularize Veergatha 2.0, several physical and online interaction of gallantry awardees were done with the school students.
Students were encouraged to participate in the following activities as part of the project.

| 11th to 12th | Poem/Essay (1000 words)/Painting/ Multi Media Presentation |

SCERTs made submissions on MyGov portal while CBSE schools submitted entries on CBSE portal.
25 winners have been selected by National Evaluation Committee by first week of Jan’23. The winners will be felicitated by Hon’ble Raksha Mantri on 25th Jan’23 in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Education and Hon’ble RRM. The winners will receive a medal, a merit certificate and a cash award of Rs 10000 each. The winners will also witness Republic Day Celebrations on 26th Jan 23.
