Announcing the winners of the contest to create a tagline and suggest a colour scheme for the National trust and its website
The National Trust for the welfare of persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation & Multiple Disabilities is a statutory body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, set up under an Act of the Parliament in the year 1999 for the welfare of these persons with disabilities. The National Trust is a non-commercial statutory Trust. The National Trust also enjoys a special status under Section 80G (2)(a)(iii)(hj) of the Income Tax Act at par with other funds like the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
The National Trust implements several schemes and programmes to ensure persons with these disabilities lead an independent life with dignity.
The National Trust has revamped schemes and programmes to provide benefit to more and more persons with these disabilities. Therefore, the National Trust invited entries for creating a tagline and suggesting a colour scheme for the website (https://mygov.in/task/create-tagline-and-suggest-colour-scheme-national-trust-and-its-website) which would enable the Department to become more popular and communicate effectively with the stakeholders. The last date of submission was 1st September, 2015.
Based on the criteria defined, The National Trust is delighted to declare Mr. Prahalad Kumar Nagda from Madhya Pradesh, as the the winner for the best entry for tagline – “Empowering abilities”.
A winner for the colour scheme could not be chosen as the Board of The National Trust did not approve of any of the colour schemes.
