Citizen Engagement : Another Puja Initiative Special Kiosk cum Walk in Idea Camp at a Key Location of New Town Kolkata

To utilize the festivity and large gathering of people during the Durgapuja Festival, a Kiosk cum walk in Idea Camp has been organized by NKDA for the period 18-10-2015 to 22-10-2015 at the sprawling lush green traffic island near the 1st rotary of the Major Arterial Road where any person can walk in, take rest on comfortable arm-chairs, read the information leaflets and self-assessment sheets, put their comments and share their smart ideas for the future New Town, Kolkata. Well trained volunteers are manning the camp to facilitate.
All citizens and stakeholders are requested to visit the camp for sharing thoughts and ideas for making New Town, Kolkata a True Future Ready Smart City.

Orderly transport, Health facilities, Garbage collection and recycling, speeding up of Metro rail work are the priority areas.The biggest hindrance in achieving the goals will be the siphoning of money meant for the purpose by the Govt. officials.
