Closure Announcement Blog for Share Your Selfie Wearing Indian Handlooms
Share Your Selfie Wearing Indian Handlooms was conducted as a part of one of the activities on the occasion of 8th National Handloom Day on 7th August 2022 by the Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles in coordination with MyGov.
The 7th of August is celebrated as “National Handloom Day” every year with the objective to create awareness about the importance of the handloom industry and its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. The selfie contest was launched on 7th August 2022 and the last date for entries was 21st August 2022. In the said competition, a total of 869 entries were received on the MyGov platform.
