Closure of ‘Logo Design Competition for National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM)’ Competition
Indian cities are inclusive centers of growth, that aggregate the best of talent, capital and innovation from across the country. In order to support the aspirations of millions of Indians, the “long tail of small cities”, meaning capacities of the newest of Indian cities must be boosted. It was with the intention of serving all our citizens therefore that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched the National Urban Digital Mission in February 2021. The NUDM will usher in an era of citizen-centric and ecosystem-driven digital transformation for our cities using a shared digital infrastructure that will democratise access to digital solutions to every state and city. With the NUDM, the Ministry aims to leapfrog our urban transformation journey by harnessing the power of digital building blocks, ready-to-use platforms, standards, specifications, and frameworks.
A Logo Design Contest for the NUDM was hosted on MyGov Platform from 17th March 2021 to 10th April 2021. The valid entries received were evaluated by a duly constituted Jury and after much deliberation, it was decided that none of the entries fulfilled the evaluation criteria required for the award of a prize. It is therefore decided not to proceed further with the entries as received against the said contest through the MyGov platform. We appreciate the efforts of all the participants and thank them for their overwhelming interest, enthusiasm, and keenness in participating in the above competition.
