MyGov, the Government of India’s citizen engagement platform is the breeding ground not only for governance related ideas and suggestions but also for harnessing India’s creative talent through activities like designing e-Greetings, logos and taglines for various events and programmes.
In today’s technology-driven era, where greetings are increasingly being sent impersonally through mobiles, MyGov is promoting the traditional idea of sharing personalized greetings. The e-Greetings portal (http://egreetings.india.gov.in) was launched by the Hon’ble Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad in August 2014 to promote a contemporary, convenient and eco-friendly method of sharing good wishes and festive greetings by everyone, whether citizens or Government officials, for national holidays and other important festivals and occasions.
The portal enables users to select and send greetings from multiple occasion-specific templates, and also facilitates customization of greetings by adding tag-lines, quotes, audio clips and messages related to various governmental programmes.
The salient feature of the e-Greetings portal is that all the designs and templates of the greetings are crowd sourced and created by citizens. The portal has been warmly received by users, with over 17 lakh e-Greetings sent so far. The portal currently offers over 450 e-Greetings.
In addition, the e-Greetings portal has features like calendar, schedule cards, sharing of card over social media etc. and it is open to use by all citizens. The MyGov e-Greetings portal not only promotes greater interaction and participation of citizens in the process of a creative work for the government but also helps dissemination of information pertaining to different subjects of national importance.

There shouldn’t be be any general coach in train after 68 years of freedom.At least our railway should deliver AC chair car to all civilian with lower fare.Every Indian has right to enjoy their country freedom with basic facilities. Yes, one insurance amount should be added in ticket for their safety. Extra Trains should run on the basis of tickets sale , along with scheduled train also..
Small Nala(drain) should have treatment plant before exit to big drain.this treatment plant can be constructed by covering certain portain of drains.so automatically big drain will be cleaned by 50%. Rest of land of drains can be used by plantation of Shesham, babool, neem,etc.please also make river stone bed for flowing dirty water which can improve quality of water in drain will help us to re-alive our mother nature Rivers..
Can we not make small heavy duty Vacuum cleaners cheaper by exempting it from Excise VAT and Other overhead of one year Government should give soft loans for Small Housing Societies or group of Societies how are investing in this vacuum cleaners and put to use to clean their surroundings. All municipal contractors should have this type of small heavy duty vacuum cleaners area wise which runs on solar batteries

Hi, We see this govt. is doing good work for developing defense sector, but money required for this is very large so i want to suggest that if govt. issue special defense sector bonds like Indian Army bonds, Indian Navy bonds, Indian Air force bonds and people who invest in these bonds will get tax benefit then it will contribute good amount which will help to spend more for that particular area. Also govt. can issue bonds for R&D sectors like for DRDO & ISRO.
