Winner Announcement of Essay Writing Competition Contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to the Freedom Struggle
Parakram Diwas is celebrated on 23rd January. As part of Parakram Diwas 2023, Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov conducted a competition for school/college children to write an essay (Approx. 500 words) in Hindi or English on the contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to the freedom struggle. The competition was open from January 11th, 2023 to January 20th, 2023.
The competition was well received and about 6548 entries were received. Maximum participation was observed in the age group 6 to 12 years showing the enthusiasm of the youth of the country towards Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Best 25 entries will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- each. Winners will also get an opportunity to attend the PM at Home Function on 25th January and Republic Day Parade on 26th January. Transport and lodging will also be facilitated to the winners.
Ministry of Defence and MyGov congratulate and thank all the participants for their enthusiasm towards the competition and look forward to their participation in such events to be conducted in future.
