From harnessing the sun’s power to embracing Vedic wisdom through AI, the holy city of Ayodhya is set to become a futuristic marvel. The ‘New Ayodhya, is reimagining itself as a solar-powered smart city, a verdant green-field township, and the world’s first AI-powered Vedic hub. Prepare to witness Ayodhya rise as a vibrant tapestry of tradition and technology, sustainability and spiritualism, where ancient wisdom illuminates the path to a new age.

Solarized City: Ayodhya is set to transform into a solar city as it is set to get a boost through the establishment of the world’s largest ‘Solar-powered street lights line’, with the installation of 470 solar street lights between Guptar Ghat and Nirmali Kund. The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency has already completed approximately 70% of the installation work. The terminal building of Ayodhya Airport is also equipped with a solar power plant.

Green-field Township: An upcoming Green-field township is being planned in the city which will include lodging facilities for devotees, space for Ashrams, Maths, Hotels, Bhavans of various states. A tourist facilitation centre, a world class museum will also be built. Special attention is being devoted to development of infrastructure around the Saryu River and its ghats. Cruise operations on the Saryu River will also be made a regular feature.

Vastu-Inspired Township: Ayodhya envisions to be developed as India’s first Vastu-based township, spanning 1100 acres. The New Ayodhya will be a river-centric city with a focus on sustainability, featuring buildings that reflect a blend of traditional and modern architecture.

AI-Powered Vedic City: Ayodhya is all set to become the world’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) – powered Vedic city. The Ayodhya Development Authority has signed an MoU with a Delhi-based IT & AI company to create a ‘vedic sustainable city index platform software that will help the local authorities to manage the growing needs of the local population, and provide systematic solutions for air, water and environmental pollution.
