Faridabad Smart City – Talk
Faridabad has been shortlisted as one of the fast-track cities shortlisted for Smart City initiative by Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India. As per the guidelines of MoUD, the reformulation of the Smart Cities proposal is required to be carried out with extensive citizen consultation and the quality of citizen consultations will be one of the criteria in the evaluation of the proposal submitted to the Ministry. Various methodologies are to be leveraged to obtain the widest possible range of citizen opinion to upgrade the Smart City Proposal. To ensure this, the Municipal Corporation Faridabad had held a “City Level Talk Show” on 4th March, 2016 of more than one hour duration between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and the same has been uploaded on YouTube, the link of which is
This Talk Show was presided over by Smt. Seema Trikha, Hon’ble Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Haryana (senior political leader) in presence of intellectual prominent citizens and officers of Municipal Corporation, Faridabad. This Talk Show was held concurrently with Press presence to answer questions from media & public for having suggestions and was hosted by Dr. Aditya Dahiya, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad.
