Global Cyber Challenge – Shortlisted Entries for Grand Finale
With an aim to identify talent pools in the area of cyber security across the globe and to find solutions to critical problems, the Global Cyber Challenge was organised as part of the Global Conference on Cyber Space. It was conducted with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center (NCIIPC), MyGov, Cyber Peace Foundation (CPF) and Policy Perspectives Foundation (PPF) as collaborators.
The Global Cyber Challenge, which comprised of two flagship events called the Cyber Peace-a-Thon and Capture the Flag saw tremendous participation from across the globe.
In Peace-a-Thon thirteen different cyber world problems were provided and teams from across the globe proposed their solutions for the same. Teams were provided mentoring sessions at nine host institutions by the experts from the industry, academia and research before final submissions. Final submissions of all the teams were evaluated by the jury based on different parameters and below top 10 teams are invited for the Grand Finale Global Cyber Challenge on November 20-21, 2017, New Delhi.
Capture the Flag was organized under two categories Information Technology and Operational Technology. Participating teams were gone through two day online challenge on November 14 – 15 , 2017 and based on the ranking below top 5 teams from both the categories (IT and OT) are invited for the Grand Finale Global Cyber Challenge on November 20-21, 2017, New Delhi
The jury has finally declared following contestants to have qualified the preliminary round.
