In Focus: Featured Volunteers (Part -3)

Continuing the tradition of acknowledging the efforts of MyGov volunteers, we share with you four new experiences of collaboration between volunteers and MyGov…

featured-volunteersJoyitri Sarkar:
“I am glad to be a part of MyGov project which have started with a mission of giving a platform where common man are able to connect with Government sharing their ideas and views that can be adapted in making changes in existing policies as well as making new policies for our nation. I am amazed with people’s participation and the views shared which is quite informative. This is a good opportunity I have got and I will put my best effort to submit my task within deadline. I will also encourage and motivate others to be a part of MyGov and help our nation a better place to live in.”

featured-volunteers-4-28012015Aurobinda Dutta:

“संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं सं वो मनांसि जानताम् |
देवा भागं यथा पूर्वे सञ्जानानामुपासते ||

Go together harmoniously; speak together; understand each other’s minds; Just as gods from ancient times, having known each other’s minds did the job come to their lot, religiously, so you too act. That is the way I feel while volunteering with MyGov. Our Prime Minister’s dream is to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the people and therefore my role as a volunteer is challenging at times. Therefore, I feel really proud to collaborate with the government team in the “DIGITAL INDIA” program, in making INDIA Incredible/ Sreshth Bharat and also contributing towards mission ‘Surajya’.”

featured-volunteers-3-28012015G. Alamelu Mangai:
My basic intention had always been to stay active, though I am not engaged with a full time job. Therefore I began freelancing as an academic and content writer. I always search for various opportunities that helps me to work online. I found MyGov through Facebook and found it very interesting.

I was inspired by the intention of MyGov and applied as a freelance writer with lots of hope to share my support to my Government.

When I was assigned the first task, I took some time for me to grasp the actual notion behind. But later on, while reading through the views of different people, some feel of responsibility hit my mind. I started to look around things seriously and see to it that my role should stay useful and supportive in highlighting the possible solutions offered by Indian citizens. I was able to feel the responsibility given to me in representing the voice of millions of Indians. Overall, my volunteering experience had been and has been good, engaging and useful.

featured-volunteers-2Nitin Gandhi:
“I work as an Analyst in IT Company. I think that People like me are not doing anything for our country except paying our taxes as we work for European and American countries and MyGov gave me the opportunity to work for the Government in resolving the issues that our country is facing on day to day basis. I feel great that I am playing a key role in getting the voice of my nation across to the government.”

    of unheard and unseen scale has been conducted and continues, as has been against the person of Modi for last 13 years.
    A lesser person in his place would have succumbed long back, got destroyed and broken and lost his sanity and spirits. It is his steal frame and his spiritual strength that has sustained and energized him and has given him the extra ordinary strength that he would have needed to face such unrelenting all round onslaught. contd 2 of 5

    I want to humbly protest the proposal of enhancing the salary of MPs as there is lots of contract employees who are rendering there service with less than minimum wage. Further it is to say that Centre Govt. should be make rules for these employees and provide good wages to them.
    ONE SIDE PM IS SAYING TO WITHDRAW SUBSIDY VOLUNTARILY SO THIS AMOUNT TO BE USED FOR UNDERPRIVILGED PERSON.
    GOVT SHOULD be not enhance MP’s salary. And do something for Govt. employees class & others

    In my opinion if our government stop currency of Rs1000/- and Rs5oo/- with immediate effect there is no doubt the the economy of our country will be very strong. Because all the developed countries in this world they do not print more than 100 currency bill.
