India Innovation Challenge 2016 Finals – Impact Report
Over the years, the TI India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) has grown to become a massive platform for technical talent. This year with the collaboration with Department of Science & Technology (DST) and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), IICDC has enkindled passion amongst the students by providing a perfect platform to chart their own course, pursue their own ventures and aspire to innovate for the future and change the world with their ideas.
Entries poured in from 624 engineering colleges across India and we couldn’t be more excited to see the tech entrepreneurs of tomorrow shape their innovative ideas to industry products. With our partners, IIM Bangalore who will support 10 winning ideas with incubation and Department of Science & Technology who will provide the seed fund, IICDC 2016 will usher in a new era of tech-led entrepreneurship in India; contribute to the country’s manufacturing ecosystem and Government’s vision of Make In India.
