Must-have apps for Madhya Pradesh citizens
In line with the vision of Government of India’s initiative ‘Digital India’, Madhya Pradesh Government has launched various mobile apps to make lives better for citizens of Madhya Pradesh. Here are some apps citizens can use to access or get information about government services and initiatives with just one-click on the smartphone.
MP eNagarPalika Citizen App- MP e-NagarPalika project is to develop a centralized web-based solution to computerize all cities across the state. Services such as litter and debris collection charges, evidence certificate, fire extinguishing, septic tank cleaning, funeral van, sewerage cleaning, water tank and many more are easily delivered through this app. You can also lodge compliant related to health, water supply, electricity, engineering, revenue, finance, garden, retired employee complaints and others. You can also make online payment for approved services.
CM Helpline 181- CM Helpline is an app which helps you to get your public grievances heard and you can also register any complaint on a day-to-day basis on just one click.
MPeCop- You can now report an incident, lost article or find out the nearest police station by using this app which is a digital initiative of MP Police. New services like viewing FIR, registration of complaint, news information of arrested people has been added which relieves citizens from the trouble of visiting a police station.
Smart Bijlee- Smart Bijlee is a mobile app developed by Central IT Cell of MPPKVVCL Jabalpur to facilitate consumer services. You can now pay your electricity bill, apply for LT domestic connection, LT name change, Mukhya Mantri Krishi Pump Service and many other services through this app.
MP Mobile – MP Mobile is a new platform that brings together various G2C services offered by several departments /agencies / corporations / universities of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh as well as B2C services to deliver citizen-centric services digitally.
Swachh Madhya Pradesh–Swachh Bharat Mission is initiated by Indian National Govt. in 1986. Its primary goals are to improve the living standard of rural people. Under this mission Govt targets to provide toilet to each eligible family in country. This app allows inspection of these activities.
WSafety- Bhopal police have come up with a free mobile app — ‘WSafety’ — that aims at helping women in panic situation. Once they click on ‘Danger’ button then message is send with their location to their guardians and police. The app will also work if there is no mobile data or internet connection.
Pollution Meter- This is an initiative to raise pollution level related awareness among citizens across 8 divisions of Indore. It is a joint effort by Divisional Administration of Indore and Citizen COP Foundation with MP Pollution Control Board, Indore Police and Indore Municipal Corporation. This application provides you with a meter to check the intensity of the pollution. Whether it is an area you live in or a random place in the city, you can know the intensity of the pollution right there.
