Nagpur municipal corporation Visioning with the Next Generation – Essay Competition
NMC has duly recognised the importance of involving the next generation in the Visioning process. To this end, NMC organised an Essay Competition in the schools in Nagpur.
278 Essays from 38 schools across Nagpur have been selected for final evaluation. The best essays would be awarded aforementioned prizes by the NMC.
For, Scrutiny NMC has appointed teachers from its schools to shortlist best essays; and scrutiny is in progress. In total 09 essays will be selected from shortlisted essays which will be 03 in English, 03 in marathi, and 03 in Hindi language; and students who’s essays are selected will be rewarded. Also, based on the essays scrutiny, NMC has decided to also provide certificate of recognition to those students whose essay weren’t best still has good ideas that might be scaled up by NMC in different capacities.
