#ParyatanParv Contests’ Winner Announcement

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in his Mann ki Baat Radio address on 24^th September 2017 had urged the people to discover the wonders of #IncredibleIndia. Taking a cue from this, the Ministry of Tourism organized the Paryatan Parv, a celebration of India’s rich tourist heritage, from 5^th to 25^th October across the country. As part of the celebrations, citizens were encouraged through a contest to share their travel experiences in Incredible India (destinations, heritage, culture, cuisine and nature) on the MyGov platform in the form of photos, videos or blogs. These contests were organized under the theme Dekho Apna Desh. The contests had attractive prizes in the form of holiday packages for two persons sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism. There was an overwhelming response to the initiative and many qualified entries were received. It was a tough task for the jury to evaluate the entries and declare three winners under this category.
