Establishment of premier educational institution like J.N. College in 1964 was the turning point in the history of Pasighat which is also considered as a source of inspiration for the entire state. For the smart city the roadways it has to be developed. Because without the roadways there won’t be able to do the work of import and export as we can see in Pasighat the railways and airways are developing they are making airports and railways route for us which are getting connected to the other outside cities of Arunachal Pradesh. If the roadways are made and airways and railways are been developed than it would be easier to get connected to the outer world.

As the city Pasighat is under the project to become a smart city. Our view including it is that if Pasighat is projected to become a smart city then first it had to solve the problem of electricity because in Pasighat there is very rare electricity has been provided, the city doesn’t even get some time light for two-three days. If the problem of electricity is solved then it would be the first step taking to become a smart city.

Electricity which is the backbone of the smart city we can say because through there may be well ICT, infrastructure etc, but if there will be no electricity it will not going to be work. In Pasighat East Siang is there from where the electricity supply can be regular if dam will be made in the Siang River.
