Result Announcement for Swachh Sujal Gaon-Reel Making Competition
The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov has organized the Swachh Sujal Gaon-Reel Making Competition for citizens to showcase benefits and efforts made by Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) to transform villages into “Swachh Sujal Gaon”.
The activity has been live on MyGov since 1st February 2025. Every month, Maximum Top Five (5) Best entries are to be selected as winners, and each winner will be awarded a prize of ₹5,000/- (only five thousand rupees).
Result for the month of February 2025:
A total of 149 entries received in the month of February 2025 were screened, examined and after screening of all 8 shortlisted/ relevant videos shared by participants over MyGov Portal, the committee was of the view that “NONE” of the videos was found suitable fit for the prize money in accordance with competition’s terms and conditions mentioned in the competition page.
Result for the month of March 2025:
A total of 223 entries received in the month of March 2025 were screened, examined and after screening of all 21 shortlisted/ relevant videos shared by participants over MyGov Portal, the committee was of the view that only “TWO (02)” videos were found suitable fit for the prize money in accordance with competition’s terms and conditions.

Result for the month of April 2025:
A total of 192 entries received during April 2025 were screened and evaluated. Out of these, 28 shortlisted videos submitted via MyGov and were reviewed by the committee. Based on the evaluation and in line with the competition’s terms and conditions, the committee found the following FOUR (04) suitable entries for the prize money:

A total of 49 entries received during May 2025 were screened and evaluated. Out of these, 23 shortlisted/relevant videos submitted via the MyGov portal were reviewed by the committee. Based on the evaluation and in line with the competition’s terms and conditions, the committee found the following One (01) entry suitable for prize consideration:

Please note:
- DDWS seeks videos that align with the theme and components specified in the competition, ensuring the visible progress of villages in terms of water and sanitation services.
- All winners are advised to submit their bank account details to iec-njjm@gov.in by 12th June 2025, to enable further coordination and processing of the prize money.

Special Announcement: The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is inviting winners of this competition as “Special Guest” to witness the Independence Day Ceremony 2025.
Please note that the invitations are being extended to the winners selected up to the month of May 2025, and it is likely to happen that June and July winners may also be added in the winners list (depending on the evaluation and eligible winners).
Further communication regarding the Performa to fill the information and required information will be shared separately by the National Jal Jeevan Mission – DDWS.
