Result Announcement of Cyber Security Quiz
“Cyber” is one of the biggest verticals of development of the century with opportunities and risks spanning beyond physical spaces. In an attempt to raise awareness about its various facets, MyGov organized two quizzes on Operational and Information Technology from October 15, 2017 – October 19, 2017. With overwhelming response and participation from across the globe, the quiz went on to test the knowledge of the participants on the specific subjects.
The quizzes were organized as part of the Global Cyber Challenge and the Global Conference on Cyber Space, 2017. GCCS is a prestigious global event where international leaders, policy makers, industry experts, think tanks, cyber wizards and aspiring professionals gather to deliberate on issues and challenges for optimally using Cyber space. In its fifth edition, GCCS in India is expected to attract over 2000 delegates from more than 100 countries. A large number of delegations (40—50 approx.) are expected to be attending the conference from different ministries both national and international.
The Global Cyber Challenge is now touring across the nation to prestigious institutions like IITs and IISc to conduct the different phases of the other challenges while the same also happens across other institutions abroad. The Grand Finale of the challenge will be hosted in New Delhi on November 20th and 21st with finalists from across the globe and India. The two day event will also host talks and panel discussions through senior officials of the government, industry experts and other functionaries of the cyber space. The Global Cyber Challenge aims to foster a community of talented cyber security experts and cyber security startups to support Government of India initiatives of Secure Digital India, Start-up India, Skill India and Make in India.
A total of 5,445 users took the quiz out of which 4,644 opted for the quiz on Operational Technology while 801 opted for Information Technology. MyGov congratulates all the participants and winners of the event. Here is a list of the top 3 winner under each quiz:
