Results for Hardware Hackathon Stage 2 Announced!
Smart India Hackathon – Hardware Edition 2018, the largest innovative platform provided to the students for building solutions for the problems posed by central and state ministries, was launched on 16th October 2017 by Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of HRD, Government of India and Chief Patron, Smart India Hackathon 2018. The Executive Committee for the Hardware edition consists of Honourable members like Prof. Partha Chakrabarty, Dr. Abhay Jere, Dr. Gopichand Katragadda, Dr. R. Subrahmanyam, Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Dr. Harkesh Kumar Mittal, Ms. Terri Bresenham and many more.
More than 5500 ideas were submitted by the students, out of which 600+ ideas were shortlisted under 11 themes for the stage 2 of the hardware hackathon.
Stage 2 will focus on students building prototypes of their ideas. The prototype video will be shared with our experts, who then will shortlist the most innovative ideas for the Grand Finale of the Hardware Hackathon!
The fantastic kick-off of the 1st stage of the competition will end with stage 3 i.e the Grand Finale, where the most innovative teams will compete to win the whole Hackathon for Hardware edition.
