MyGov platform is designed, developed and hosted by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.
Thank you for such an overwhelming response. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation organized Swachhathon 1.0 as a knowledge aggregation platform to crowd source ideas and innovations for pressing issues facing the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission. MoDWS invited students from schools and colleges, professionals, organizations, startups and others to come up with exciting, innovative, novel and viable solutions in the listed categories. The contest was open to participants of all nationalities.
The Ministry appreciates the effort undertaken by all the participants in showcasing their innovations and ideas in Swachhathon 1.0. The sheer diversity and depth of the entries received from across the country and the world showed their innovative capacities in the field of sanitation and hygiene. The ministry also hopes that this event shall also give spurt to aspiring innovators and thinkers and encourage them to bring better solutions.
In total, 3053 submissions were received across all six categories. After careful deliberation, 57 participants have been short-listed for the semi-finals. All the short-listed candidates have been mailed about the same. The list of the semi-finalists is attached.
