Vadodara Smart City Round 2 – MyGov Talk
City of Vadodara made its mark in the Round 2 of Smart City Challenge, with Vadodara Municipal Corporation organizing a webinar session on 13th of May 2016. This session was addressed by Mayor, Shri Bharat Dangar (addressing remotely); Municipal Commissioner, Shri H.S.Patel (IAS); Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Dr.N.K.Meena (IAS) and other Class 1 officers. This interaction spanned over a period of half an hour, with 25 attendees and the discussion covered various criteria and aspects of Smart City Contest. The speakers also emphasized the reason why Vadodara stands to be an ideal contender for Smart City. It also apprises the attendees of the area selected for Area based development and the proposed initiatives on the pan city front.
Through this video and various other channels of interaction, VMC invites constructive suggestions and proactive participation from fellow citizens of Vadodara.
