Winner Announcement Blog for AI Gamechangers Award 2023
The AI Gamechangers Award was India’s flagship event at the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023. The AI Gamechangers Award recognised and celebrated startups that are driving responsible AI innovation, and this success is a testament to your dedication and expertise.
The Call for applications for the AI Gamechangers Award, spanning from September 12th to November 15th, 2023, garnered an overwhelming response from a diverse pool of startups. A Review Committee, comprising members from government, civil society, academia, and industry, meticulously evaluated the submissions. Top 10 Startups were selected by the Committee after detailed deliberations and assessment of innovative solutions presented by the startups.
The final pitching session of the AI Gamechangers Award was held on 14th December, 2023 at the GPAI Summit 2023 in New Delhi, India. The 10 shortlisted start-ups presented their innovations before a distinguished panel of jurors and exhibited their transformative ideas before a global audience from GPAI member countries, prominent Global AI Experts, and multilateral organisations. The jury consisted of Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT; Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT and President; Ms Kavita Bhatia, Scientist ‘G’ and Group Coordinator, Ministry of Electronics and IT; Mr Howard Lakougna, Senior Program Officer, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Mr Arpit Agarwal, Partner, Blume Ventures; Mr Pankaj Thakar, Founder & Chief Mentor, PadUp Ventures; Mr Anirudh Suri, Managing Partner, India Internet Fund; and Mr Harshjit Sethi, Managing Director, Peak XV.
