Winner Announcement for Ocean Scenario Quiz
The Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India hosted a quiz titled, ‘The Ocean Scenario Quiz’ on MyGov as part of the Namami Tate campaign.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences in collaboration with their technology partner, Superhuman Race, launched Namami Tate, a nationwide beach clean-up and awareness campaign on November 12, 2021, under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This initiative intends to raise awareness regarding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG-14 Life below water) in citizen and business communities.
The Quiz was organized for the purpose of creating awareness about ocean health, cleanliness of beaches, recycling, and related topics. The quiz was launched on 20 December 2021 and ended on 19 January 2022.
We are grateful for the overwhelming response and are pleased to announce that we have received a total participation of 21931 people across all age groups from all over India.
All the valid entries were evaluated by a duly constituted jury who, after much deliberation, recommended the winners as follows:
