Winner Announcement of #Cheer4India Video Making Contest for Tokyo Olympics 2020
To celebrate the spirit of the Olympics and to motivate our citizens to support Indian athletes, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted a video making contest on the theme ‘#Cheer4India Video Making Contest for Tokyo Olympics 2020’ on 28th June 2021 with an aim to extend our moral support to the Indian contingent and create awareness amongst the countrymen about the Olympics and Indian participation. This contest was held in line with the Hon’ble PM’s call to support the Indian contingent going for Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The contest was open to all Indian citizens.
The contest received a good response, with 639 citizens participated across the country from 28th June to 22nd July 2021.
Referral sources brought the highest audience to the campaign. The highest participation was received from Maharashtra followed by Delhi and Telangana. The highest participation was received from the below 18 Age group that had a total of 112 entries which indicates that most youngsters have participated in the contest.
A total of five lucky winners who created the most engaging and motivating video were awarded a Team India Olympic jersey.
