Winner Announcement of Inviting Solution on E-Waste Management
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) hosted E-Waste Se Raksha- Swachhata Hi Suraksha: Inviting Solutions for E-Waste Management on MyGov between 31st -13th February 2020. Entries were invited from citizens on the theme: Environment-friendly methods/measures for disposal and recycling of e-waste. With the objective to tackle the rising challenges posed by electronic waste an effort has been made through this initiative to crowd source innovative solutions for collection, disposal and recycling systems.
The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 1185 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 3 entries were selected. The entries were selected based on relevance to the subject (e-waste), understanding of the topic, effectiveness to the measure proposed, uniqueness of the ideas and outreach envisaged for stakeholder engagement.
MeitY is extremely pleased to express its gratitude towards all the participants who have participated in the contest and helped make it a success.
