Winners of Medal Winning Olympian Survey
To celebrate the spirit of the Olympics and to motivate our citizens to support Indian athletes, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted a survey contest on the theme ‘Medal Winning Olympian Survey’ on 28th June 2021 with an aim to extend our moral support to the Indian contingent and create awareness amongst the countrymen about the Olympics and Indian participation. This contest was held in line with the Hon’ble PM’s call to support the Indian contingent going for Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The survey was open to all Indian citizens.
The survey received a great response, with 3955 citizens participated across the country from 28th June to 8th August 2021.
Referral sources brought the highest audience to the campaign which means that users came via referral sources to the page. The highest participation was received from Delhi followed by Bengaluru and Mumbai. The highest participation was received from the 18-24 Age group that had a total of 1373 entries which indicates that most youngsters have participated in the contest. The survey showed that more than 90% of the participants were aware of different sports played in Olympics and Indian Olympic winners. A total of 613 participants had 8 to 12 Years’ experience of watching the Olympics.
A total of ten lucky winners who predicted the medal winners correctly were awarded a Team India Olympic jersey and the winner are:
