It is with immense pride, gratitude, and a profound sense of responsibility that I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all ranks, veterans, Veer Naris, and families of the Central Reserve Police Force, as well as to the citizens of our great nation, on the occasion of the 88th Raising Day of our glorious Force.

Since its inception in 1939, the Central Reserve Police Force has evolved into India’s premier internal security force and one of the largest paramilitary organizations in the world. Over the decades, the Force has consistently adapted itself to the changing security environment and has remained steadfast in its commitment to protecting the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation. From counter-insurgency and anti-Naxal operations to election duties, law and order responsibilities, disaster response, and humanitarian assistance, the CRPF has stood as the embodiment of service before self.

The security landscape of the nation continues to evolve with the emergence of new and complex challenges. While conventional threats persist, the increasing convergence of terrorism, Left Wing Extremism, cyber threats, misinformation, drone-enabled activities, and transnational criminal networks necessitates greater preparedness, technological adaptation, and seamless coordination. The Force has responded to these challenges with agility and professionalism, strengthening its operational capabilities while embracing innovation and modernization.

The past year has witnessed several notable achievements. Through sustained operations and close coordination with sister agencies, the Force has continued to deliver decisive results against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and Left Wing Extremism in affected regions. Significant successes achieved by our CoBRA units and field formations have further strengthened the nation’s resolve to eliminate the menace of extremism and ensure lasting peace and development in vulnerable areas.

Parallel to operational excellence, CRPF has placed considerable emphasis on technological transformation. The adoption of modern communication systems, drones, surveillance technologies, data analytics, cyber security measures, and digital platforms has enhanced operational effectiveness and improved decision-making. Efforts are underway to leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to meet the requirements of future battlefields and security challenges.

Human resource development remains central core of our vision. Investments in realistic training, specialization, leadership development, and capacity building have strengthened the professional competence of our personnel. Special emphasis has been laid on promoting a culture of continuous learning, operational preparedness, and technological proficiency. The welfare of our personnel and their families continues to remain a matter of utmost priority. Various initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, accommodation, education, skill development, and rehabilitation of veterans and next of kin reflect our enduring commitment towards the CRPF fraternity.

The Force has also strengthened its outreach to society through civic action programmes, women empowerment initiatives, youth engagement, environmental conservation efforts, and awareness campaigns. These endeavours have helped build trust and reinforce the enduring bond between the Force and the citizens whom we proudly serve.

As we commemorate eighty-eight years of distinguished service, we pay our deepest homage to the 2270 brave martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and devotion continue to inspire generations of CRPF personnel. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the veterans, Veer Naris, and families whose unwavering support remains the bedrock of our strength.

The achievements of the Central Reserve Police Force are a testament to the courage, dedication, discipline, and professionalism of every member of the Force. As we march towards the future, we remain committed to enhancing our capabilities, embracing innovation, and upholding the highest traditions of service and sacrifice.

Guided by our motto, “Service and Loyalty”, the Central Reserve Police Force shall continue to stand as a symbol of trust, resilience, and national pride, ever prepared to safeguard the unity, integrity, and security of our great nation.

Jai Hind! Jai CRPF!
