More than 3,000 members have shared their opinions on checking the ‘brain drain’ as the country is losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here. Also, members have suggested ideas on creating more opportunities to encourage citizens of India. Discussion on creating better employment opportunities in rural areas also exhibited valuable suggestions from people. From encouraging entrepreneurship to developing industries and infrastructure, many useful suggestions have been shared through discussions.

Some of the suggestions are:

  1. Decentralization of industry can helpful to outcome from brain drain and more spiritual to small town development. Talent from rural India can work from nearest industrial area instead of travel to metro cities.
  2. Addressing the ‘brain-drain’ issue at root/local level and providing people/entrepreneur the platform and incubation; where they can do a LIVING with their IDEAS. Importance should be given to retaining BRAINS in their area, since ‘brain-drain at district/state level also brings imbalance to the uniform development within country. Provide financial support to college pass-out.
  3. Brain Drain can only be stopped by providing better work culture and satisfying salary.
  4. Developing infrastructure in remote areas will discourage migration to the cities.

I worry that military forces get retired at 35+ age and no longer deemed fit for stress of army routine. However, such a person will have army disciplined and weapon skills. Why not start small police reforms e.g., consider ex-servicemen for police roles in leadership positions, from head constable to all the way up to DySP.

Police forces should benefit from infusion of army’s proven work ethics. A special training college can be setup to facilitate skills transition of ex-army personnel.

The people should get Jobs on Merit basis or either on Poverty basis but not on Reservation. All people want Reservation, I don’t know why. People divided themselves into categories like SC, OBC, General etc. Now the Patels in Gujarat are demanding for Reservation. In future, Sharma’s, Verma’s, Singh’s, Bajaj’s, Kapoor’s, Chawla’s, Mittal’s, Gupta’s etc will demand for Reservation. We all are same. Reservation must be eliminated. Now it’s time to remove Reservation System.

    Dear Sir,

Entrepreneurship at grass root level to be encouraged. One persons need or weakness is other persons business. A digital platform to be created where everybody can give their business ideas or requirements, which can be translated into reality by somebody enterprising. suppose if the street is full of mud and water, and there are families living at both ends of that lane, they are in quest of the people, they are waiting when govt will sort out their issue, EVERYONE IN THEIR FAMILY IS UNEMPLOYED, they have lack of money, if they had employed people in their home, probably they could collect some money with a helping hand and can themselvs construct or manufacture the road instead of looking towards Government miserably.

BOTTOMLINE: We Need Job, not schemes.

Sir.I would suggest inctentivisng job creation through tax refunds which would work as follows.suppose a company pays net tax of say 100 cr.gov should say that u can take 10 cr refund and out of these 10 cr add 40% of it to your to net profit provided balance 60% is used by you for giving new jobs.or there can be a rebate of say 5% on net taxes if a firm employs more than 500 or 1000 employs in a year.
