Smart City Kakinada – Citizen Consultative Workshop was arranged on September 16th 2015

On 16th Septeber 2015, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly Vanamadi Kondababu, Member of Parliament Sri. Thota Narasimham addressed the Citizens of Kakinada about its selection in 100 Smart Cities and requested them to provide active participation in prepartion of Smart City Proposal.

The steps towards making any city smart is to :
1. Eliminate strret dogs, strret pigs, and musquitoes.
2. 24 hour clean (green)power and potable water
3. Sustainable and eco-friendly transport, healthcare, education, and other infrastructure
4. Developing an accountable, responsible citizenship in every resident
a million rupees question araises always that why kakinada beach is not developed though people show interest to visit.

making kakinda a smart city is a good idea.for its development some suggesions are
1.proper roads in and around kakinada.
2.proper street lights using solar energy.
3.awreness on mission SWATCH BHARAT in rural areas of kkd and among people.
4.proper drainage systems.
kakinada well known city and indusrtrially high potentials with in kakinada and to develop imports and exports from kakinada and many of them interested to develop kakinada and in kakinada "IT " hub will be developed and main moto of my comment it is like to be an great smart city in india and this can be done only through our "HONOURABLE C.M CHANDRABABU NAIDU "only thats way this will like to have another hyderabad and many of see resources in kakinada to develop

i kindly say one thing to u is plz devlope the ADPROAD TO STOP THE ACCIDENTS and it is the conectivity to kakinada from diffrent villages and major cities like rajahmundry and there are nearly 25-30 villages on and sides of ADP road
ts a good initiative by the KMC & the govt.officials to know the importance of this program to the citizens of Kakinada. And should be planned properly to make this happen in a right manner. Also remember to stop establishing the pollution based companies & already there is lot of pollution in the city currently because of Oil companies.

it is very good part taken by Indian Government to make kakinada a smart city for this job opportunities should be increased and roads should be neatly constructed and tidiness should be maintained all over the city.
God hàs blessed us an opportunity to make our city comfortable smart. 1 we need underground cables for all kinds. 2 solar hub is a smart substituion. 3.underground drainage 3. There should be greenary in every street 4. Maximum vacant lands should be both municipal and non municipal at least either for parking or greenary 5. Most important is digital library is needed.
