Suggestions for Amravati Smart City
Amravati Municipal Corporation has been selected for the Smart City Challenge and we would like to invite all the citizens to give us your input in making Amaravati a Smart City.
The idea of a smart city is focused on giving a better standard of living to all its citizens. This covers a wide range of services such as water, mobility, sanitation and solid waste, sewerage, e services, etc. Which of these services do you think needs to be developed the most in Amaravati City which can be enhanced via the Smart City Challenge which will help better the life of each and every citizen of the city. Also, which area within Amaravati Municipal Corporation should be chosen for Area Development where different smart services can be included to make the area a model area with respect to Smart development? If you were to select between the following locations, which area would you choose for Area Development? Please give us a rationale for your selection as well.

To improve better health care in smart city & to provide better health facilities to tribal areas in the district please start new Government college & hospital as early as possible with all latest facilities in the hospital.
To improve health care service in the city, Smart Health Card should be given to every citizen. This will help to maintain and monitor all the records and will provide assistance to every part of the system.
1) The first and foremost thing required for any city is cleanliness where several problems could be solved, garbage collection should be regular and the stacking point should be far from houses.2) Must and should provide clean and pure water supply inorder to maintain good health of the citizens.3) Energy saving street lights should be setup and steps need to be taken in such a way that even one light fails repair action should be quick.4)Sanitation with latest methods.5)Underground power lines

-Need more exposure to ancient temples like Amba devi, Muktagiri and Forts like Amner, Narnala, Gawilgarh and the majestic forest of melghat and more..
exposure to all this can help in geeting more tourisim , automatically increase in local business and helping people improve there lives

-Improve and expand Roads connecting other states and bigger cities.
-Need more trains to the Amrvati station.
-Improve local transport and compulsion for CNG for Citi bus and Rikshaw or electric rikshaw.
-There should be atleast one well equipd and dedicated Helipad for Gov & Commercial use inside the city.
-The Belora Airport should be functional atlest 1-2 flights a day, there are thousands of people out there who can afford to fly and will pay for convinence
I would like to bring your notice that, after state bifurcation of AP, land rates are increased to sky level in all 13 districts. Previously Andhra Pradesh is one of the leading state for agriculture production like Rice, Dal, Mirchi, cotton and ETC.. We hope in future there is no scope for agriculture production due to Land rates are increased and farmers are feeling that income is very less on agriculture production and due to farmers/Politician and reals estate public are converting into Real
Clean Energy
Look into Producing clean energy on large scale for industry, like solar Power through panels,as the region is hot daytime through out the year its an added benifit.use this power as much as possible as a alternative will help in keeping the environment clean and healthy for agriculture
So we can get textile mills, ginning mills, particle board making plantsproduce a final product here and then just transport across the world.Example, Oranges : Juice Factory,Cold Storage,all these type of food processing sector can be very well developed here and government should encourage big brands to setup,and there is genuine reason, if we have processing units within the area, the fruit reaches the processing unit in extreme fresh condition and deduces the transport and raw material cost.
Building Amravati city as ‘smart’ will not be an easy task. The need for the hour is to make the city have some basic facilities first. There are some areas where one may feel like in village as there are no Toilets at houses there. Though there r concrete roads in every corner. Even if roads are made international class, such unavailability of toilets will make people sit on these roadsides for their morning calls. Hence the first step should be to develop such areas and spread awareness.
-Its an agriculture zone dont turn it into concrete jungle in the name of smart city & industrial development, keep it simple, instead of bringing unwanted factories which can pollute environment and more concrete.We can get factories, plants, processing units which uses the raw material as anything which is produce locally on a large scale.For Example Cotton : If the rawmaterial is available right next to you,you can produce thing faster and cheaper.
