Winner Announcement of Contest for making songs and videos on Anti-Drug Abuse
The UN General Assembly passed a Resolution in December, 1987, proclaiming 26th June of each year as the “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”. Thus, every year on 26th June, steps taken by the Government against drug abuse and illicit trafficking are highlighted, apart from spreading awareness on the subject.
As a part of observance of “International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”, Narcotics Control Bureau, under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov had organized an online Anti Drugs Themed making songs and video contest to create awareness against the ill effects of drugs in the society.
The contest went live on 13th June, 2020 on the MyGov website and ended on 24th June, 2020. The contest was hosted on the MyGov website for receiving the entries.
The making songs and video contest themed “Anti Drug Abuse” was meant to create a wide scale awareness among masses, especially among the youth and children of the society against the ill effects of drug abuse by involvement of the youth themselves in showing their creativity on the theme. The competition was open to the Citizens of India from all parts of India.
There were more than 1000 entries received from all over the country till the closing of the competition. A Jury constituted by Lalilt Kala Akadami, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India arrived at the winners shortlist after careful scrutiny and the 03 winners and other 10 consolation prize winners were selected.
The winners will be awarded with Prize money for the first three overall position holders and 10 consolation prize winners.
The list of prize winners are enclosed with below mentioned link. Prize money will be transferred directly into the Accounts of prize winners whose IDs and bank details have already been received as mentioned in Table –A.
The prize winners whose IDs and bank details have not yet been received despite several reminders, as mentioned in Table-B, are given the last chance to revert back immediately on email: supdtpc-ncb@nic.in or over telephone: 01126761131 & 01126761120 and provide the IDs & bank details immediately latest by 10th Feb 2021 for transfer of prize money. Thereafter, no request will be entertained.
